In the Footsteps of Christ Nazareth & Sea of Galilee Tour

We begin our drive to Galilee, passing through the Valley of Armageddon and the biblical Tel of Megiddo on our way to Nazareth, the capital of Lower Galilee. This region, rich in biblical history, offers a unique opportunity to connect with the roots of the Christian faith.

In Nazareth, we’ll visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, where we’ll see the house of the Virgin Mary, a significant site in Christian tradition. We’ll also visit St. Joseph's Church, believed to be the place where Jesus spent His childhood, helping His earthly father, St. Joseph, with carpentry.

Our journey continues toward the Sea of Galilee, making a stop in Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle, turning water into wine at a wedding feast. This site is a beloved pilgrimage destination for Christians around the world.

Upon reaching Tabgha, we’ll visit the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish, which commemorates the miracle where Jesus fed thousands with just five loaves of bread and two fish. We’ll also explore the nearby archaeological site of Capernaum, where Jesus lived during His public ministry.

Next, we’ll make our way through the city of Tiberias, heading toward the Jordan River, where we’ll stop at the Yardenit Baptismal Site. This serene location offers visitors the opportunity to connect with the sacred waters where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.

Finally, we’ll return to Jerusalem through the Jordan Valley, passing the ancient city of Jericho, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, rich in biblical significance.
