Before Jerusalem
First Centers of Ancient Israel

Our journey begins with a drive from Jerusalem along the Patriarch’s road to ancient Shiloh, one of the most important biblical sites in Israel. After the conquest of Canaan, the Tabernacle stood here for centuries, making Shiloh the spiritual heart of the nation before Jerusalem became its capital.
Walk among the archaeological remains while exploring the stories of Hannah, Eli the High Priest, and Samuel the Prophet, who first heard God's voice in this sacred place. Learn about the Ark of the Covenant, Israel's early worship, and the dramatic events that led to the end of Shiloh's prominence.
We continue north to Sebastia, one of the most impressive archaeological sites in the Holy Land and the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Israel.
Discover the city founded by King Omri and later expanded by King Ahab, where the ministries of the prophets Elijah and Elisha unfolded during one of the most dramatic periods of biblical history. Walk along Roman streets, admire the remains of temples and public buildings, and visit the traditional site associated with the Tomb of John the Baptist, reflecting Sebastia's importance throughout Jewish, Christian, and Roman history.
Our final stop is Mount Gerizim National Park, the holiest place in the Samaritan faith and one of the most unique archaeological sites in the region.
Explore the remains of the ancient Samaritan Temple, learn about the origins and traditions of the Samaritan community, and enjoy spectacular panoramic views over Nablus (biblical Shechem), the surrounding valleys, and the mountains of Samaria. Discover why Mount Gerizim plays a central role in both the Old Testament and the New Testament, including its connection to Jesus and the Samaritan woman in the Gospel of John.
After a day immersed in the biblical history, archaeology, and breathtaking landscapes of Samaria, the tour concludes with a scenic drive back to Jerusalem, arriving in the late afternoon with unforgettable memories of some of the Holy Land's most remarkable biblical treasures.
